A Paradise Called Mauritius

One of my closest friends, Dhruv, had let me know that he would be spending some time in Mauritius renovating his home for over 8 months and counting. Given the close proximity of Port Louis to my home in India, I jumped at the chance to be able to visit the gorgeous country. As an added bonus, his brother, Yadu, would also be making a trip out and there would be some overlap during our trip.
Route planning was relatively simple as there were only two real options with one being Emirates via Dubai and the other being Air Mauritius that has a nonstop from Mumbai (Bombay). The decision was relatively easy, given I’d get the opportunity to try a new airline and at half the price of Emirates. Air Mauritius operates the nonstop with an Airbus A330-900. Flight time during the nonstop would be 6 hours.
